A driving range that can be used all year round

After investing in your golf driving range you want it to be maximised for use for as greater length of time as possible. Don’t let your members be restricted with their practice times during the long dark winter months of the year by providing a fully illuminated and professional training area.

Conventional Roof Mounted Floodlights

Using Abacus Challenger 3 – 1000 watt floodlights roof mounted will provide the high level of lighting required. The level of lux lighting achieved will enable golf balls to be seen throughout their full flight once hit from the range until landing and stop.

Abacus Berm System

floodflighting 3Floodlights are arranged at regular intervals on the outfield area at ground level usually in pairs. This system of lighting uses lower wattage floodlights than the above system and does not provide the same large level of ‘Halo Effect’. It is far more environmentally friendly and favoured by planning departments and still provides the high level of lighting required on a driving range.
